I made El Muan y La Madremonte dolls inspired by stories that I heard when I was a child, the two characters were described for those who claimed to have seen them, as a monstrous man with long hair, who lived by the rivers and scared fishermen, and a strong woman dressed in leaves, who protected the woods and punished those who invaded her territory. To make them, I used soda cans, styrofoam balls and plain kraft paper.
